Local authority immediately mobilize workers to pump water out using a generator and a long pipe. Officers also helped evacuate 10 people trapped in six vehicles and 60 passengers who were on the two-story buses.
Floods in a prestigious area in Singapore is quite lead to surprise. A resident who lived in the area of Thomson Road, Shama Bano Khan revealed that he had never experienced this before. "We've lived there for 15 years and have never seen anything like this," he told the Straits Times.
