In order for a case like this does not happen again, the Ministry will issue a circular letter to all companies that employ Foreign Labor in order to socialize on procedures and work culture in Indonesia.

Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Muhaimin Iskandar deplored the demonstrations that ended with the riots. "We truly regret this incident which caused an error in communication between the Foreign Manpower (TKA) with local labor," said the minister in his statement on Thursday (22 / 4).

"May this be a lesson for us all, especially the companies that employ foreign workers." Minister said, now the Ministry has lowered fact-finding team into the field. The team is led Haiyani Rumondang, Director of Dispute Resolution Industrial Relations, Directorate General for Industrial Relations and Social Security, Kemenkertrans.

"Directly, I ordered the formation of fact-finding team to immediately get into the field and resolve this matter as soon as possible. This team will continuously monitor the progress of cases. We hope such incidents will not recur, "said the minister.

The task of this fact-finding team will be focused to investigate the possibility of normative rights violations in the field of labor and resolve problems as soon as possible. Further, the minister hoped that all foreign workers working in Indonesia can learn the local culture well and good procedures for communicating with Indonesian workers so that such incidents will not recur.

"Events like this are expected will not happen again, if the management, workers and trade unions can establish a conducive industrial relations and good communications" said the minister.
